Carrie Tongarm represents clients in matters related to environmental regulation and policy, with a particular emphasis on the development of the Marcellus Shale.
Prior to joining Saul Ewing, Carrie was a legal intern for an upstream oil and gas producer, where she developed knowledge of the Federal Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration regulations relating to natural gas gathering and transmission lines, as well as experience in environmental and regulatory matters related to natural gas development. During law school, she interned at Neighborhood Legal Services and was a summer law clerk for a Pittsburgh personal injury law firm.
Prior to attending law school, Carrie was involved in theater production in New York City. She was a marketing associate for The Public Theater and a professional stage manager for the Actors’ Equity Association.
