Elina Slavin has extensive experience in Hatch-Waxman ANDA litigation in defending the intellectual property of innovative pharmaceutical companies. She also has experience with prosecution and transactional work for a variety of clients. She has represented clients in patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, unfair competition, anti-counterfeiting, and antitrust litigation before the Federal Circuit, federal appellate courts, and federal district courts across the country. Elina’s practice encompasses a wide range of technologies and products, including medical and electromechanical devices, computer, software, pharmaceutical, food and beverage products, and athletic goods. She has represented national and international companies ranging in size from small biotechnology companies to Global Fortune 500 companies.
Elina has also represented clients in various types of patent and trademark proceedings, including matters before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, United States Patent and Trademark Office, United States Copyright Office, and the National Arbitration Forum.
On the transactional side, Elina has advised companies regarding the structuring, negotiation and drafting of agreements. She also has been involved with intellectual property due diligence and counseled clients with respect to their intellectual property assets in connection with their merger or acquisition strategies. Furthermore, Elina has provided guidance to clients on Food and Drug Administration issues as well as advertising issues such as sweepstakes, promotions, and compliance with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act).
