DiChello presents at PBA CLE program on personal injury actions
The Essentials of Handling Personal Injury Cases for Clients with Cognitive Impairment

Amanda DiChello, partner and co-chair of the Private Client and Business Services Practice, presents at the Philadelphia Bar Association’s new CLE program which focuses on the intersection of the civil court and orphans' court in complex personal injury actions. The program, hosted by the PBA’s State Civil Litigation Section, will address the practical issues associated with representing clients suffering from cognitive impairment from the inception of a personal injury case through its completion. Through the use of case studies, attendees will learn how to handle the following issues:

  • Incapacity
  • Guardianship
  • Powers of Attorney
  • Discovery
  • Supplemental Needs Trust
  • Settlements and verdicts

The one-hour program begins at 12:30 p.m. and will take place at the Philadelphia Bar Association Conference Center, 1101 Market Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A lunch will be served during the presentation.
