DiSabatino to speak about bankruptcy fraud
Monique DiSabatino, an associate in Saul Ewing’s Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice, will speak about the basics of bankruptcy fraud during a CLE panel discussion organized by the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Conference. DiSabatino and five other panelists will use vignettes based on real cases, including the case of baseball player Lenny Dykstra, to show how bankruptcy fraud arises in bankruptcy cases, how it is addressed and how parties are held responsible.
The event, entitled “Denny Lykstra” – A Swing and a Miss, will begin at 5:35 p.m. at Citizens Bank Park. Attendees will receive 1.0 CLE credit as well as food, beverages and a ticket to that night’s baseball game featuring the Philadelphia Phillies playing the Toronto Blue Jays. The cost is $100.
