Kuhns to Moderate Panel Discussion on Human Trafficking
The Case Against Human Trafficking: What Everyone Should Know

Joyce A. Kuhns, a partner in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice and co-chair of IWIRC Greater Maryland, will moderate a panel discussion on Human Trafficking presented by the IWIRC Greater Maryland Network in cooperation with the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.

Program participants will learn what human trafficking is today, who is at risk, and what you can do to fight this crime. The panel of state and federal investigators, prosecutors and local victim service providers will cover myth vs. reality, victim identification, investigative techniques, prosecution of actual cases, survivor support services and State of Maryland laws. Joyce will cover common myths and misconceptions and advise on the existence and charge of the Task Force in Maryland.

The panel discussion and reception will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in Baltimore, MD.
