MCCA 2015 Annual General Counsel Summit
Katrina Dennis served as a moderator at the Minority Corporate Counsel Association’s (“MCCA”) annual General Counsel Summit in Palm Beach, Florida. The General Counsel Summit (formerly the General Counsel Invitational) is a four-day event that provides innovative educational offerings focusing on leadership and diversity.
The GCS provides opportunities for thought leaders to benchmark their legal department and build their peer network in intimate settings, creating an atmosphere that fosters professional development. In addition to the educational offerings, the General Counsel Summit is the sole fundraiser supporting the MCCA LMJ Scholarship Program.
Katrina moderated the MCCA panel entitled “Corporate Social Responsibility - How the Court of Public Opinion, Transparency and Regulations are Reshaping Corporate Social Responsibility” on May 8. The panelists included top legal professionals from Xerox, Microsoft and Pitney Bowes, among other companies. They discussed how non-financial corporate information drives decisions related to financial investment, family purchases and activist focus.
