Arnstein & Lehr welcomes Maria Isabel (Mary) Hoelle to Miami Office
The Miami office of Arnstein & Lehr is pleased to welcome Maria Isabel (Mary) Hoelle to the firm as a partner in the Litigation and Products Liability practices. Prior to joining the firm, she was a partner and head of the litigation group at Fowler Rodriguez in Miami.
Ms. Hoelle has experience in the areas of commercial litigation, civil litigation and products liability. With more than 20 years of experience, she has represented large corporate clients in multimillion dollar disputes before multiple Florida appellate courts. Her experience also includes representing clients before U.S. and foreign courts, in addition to litigating issues of jurisdiction and forum non conveniens in federal and state courts. Additionally, Ms. Hoelle has managed several international discovery requests through the Hague Convention on the Taking of Evidence Abroad in civil or commercial matters. Her practice also encompasses cross border issues involving Latin America and Mexico. Ms. Hoelle is also fluent in Spanish. As an experienced arbitrator, Ms. Hoelle has represented numerous clients in disputes before the American Arbitration Association. She has also been involved with handling issues related to electronic discovery in federal and state courts.
Ms. Hoelle is a member of the International Law Section and Trial Lawyer's Section of The Florida Bar Association and previously served as vice chair of its Committee on Professionalism. Mary earned her J.D. from The Catholic University of America and her B.A. and Masters in Public Administration from Florida International University. She currently serves as chair of the President's Council Board of Florida International University and sits on the University's Foundation Board of Directors.
