December 3, 2014

Saul Ewing LLP was one of 13 Baltimore-area companies honored December 2, 2014 by Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake with the 2014 Mayor’s Business Recognition Award for outstanding community service.

Rawlings-Blake said the winning companies “have gone above and beyond to support our city.” The annual awards event is presented by the Mayor’s Office, the Greater Baltimore Committee and the Baltimore Development Corp. to  businesses that have demonstrated significant corporate leadership and service in improving the quality of life in Baltimore City.

The awards program was held at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore in downtown Baltimore.

“This is truly an honor for our firm and in particular, for the Baltimore office,” said Managing Partner Barry F. Levin. “I want to especially single out than thank Ruth Fry, our office manager who complied our winning nomination and submitted it.”

Saul Ewing’s community service through the year ranged from assisting a family in need after a fire destroyed their home and providing clothing and toys to 38 children through the Dayspring programs to paddling in canoes while pulling trash from the Middle Branch park area and mentoring high school students in Baltimore City.
