The Middletown Transcript announced that Richard Forsten, a partner in Saul Ewing’s Real Estate Practice, will serve a second five-year term on the Appoquiniminink Board of Education in New Castle County, Delaware.

Richard was elected to his first five-year term in 2001 and the board selected him as its president in July 2015.  Because no one else filed to run for his seat this year, Richard has been automatically appointed to serve a second term on the board. Richard will be sworn in for his second term on June 30, 2016.

“I thank everyone who was so encouraging these past few weeks about my candidacy, and more importantly, to the students, parents, teachers and residents of Appoquinimink I pledge to continue to work hard to make our school district even better,” Richard said in the article.
