Primanti’s remains measured as it undergoes multistate expansion

Jeff Letwin, special counsel in Saul Ewing’s Business and Finance Practice, is quoted in this article in The Pittsburgh Business Times regarding the expansion of Pittsburgh’s Primanti Brothers sandwich shop. The article explains that the sandwich shop, recently acquired by global private equity firm L Catterton, plans to continue to expand the chain in the coming years. Jeff, who has represented restaurants who have and have not succeeded in expanding beyond their original region, said in the article, “Pittsburgh has this tremendous diaspora. I think Primanti’s has the opportunity to enjoy some of that. I think that’s one of the things that makes Pittsburgh unique.”
