Levine quoted in Law 360 on resolution of Gawker Media case
Sharon Levine and Dipesh Patel, respectively a partner and associate in Saul Ewing’s Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice, are noted in an article in Law 360 for their representation of the writers in the Gawker Media bankruptcy case. On December 13, 2016 the court approved Gawker Media’s plan to resolve its Chapter 11 bankruptcy which releases Gawker writers from facing related liabilities.
“We’re glad to see that the plan is confirmed and we’re pleased to see that the court approved the releases,” said Sharon said in the article. “The writers provided the content that created the value. To leave them out there exposed would have been a very difficult result under these circumstances.”
