Josh Richards, a partner and co-chair for Saul Ewing’s Higher Education Practice, shares ways in which federal anti-sex discrimination laws may have an effect on higher education institutions in this article in the Los Angeles Daily Journal. In the article, Josh notes that there could soon be challenges to housing policies, including all-female and all-male dorms, due to the U.S. Education Department's Office for Civil Rights' "Dear Colleague" letter, which prohibits race, gender, age or sexuality discrimination in higher education institutions.
