Saul Ewing named Bond Counsel for Pennsylvania Treasury
The Pennsylvania Treasury has announced that Saul Ewing has been named Bond Counsel for the Commonwealth, as a result of its first-ever competitive bidding process. The Treasury prequalified 25 firms to bid for the work, and 17 submitted proposals. The competitive process applied “objective criteria involving experience, competencies and cost” and awarded the work to Saul Ewing. The firm will handle the legal work for Treasury’s next general obligation deal to refinance existing debt and fund transportation projects and capital improvements.
