Arnstein & Lehr LLP Elects Three Attorneys to Partnership

CHICAGO – The national law firm of Arnstein & Lehr LLP has elevated three associates to partnership – two in the Chicago office and one in Miami.
Karen K. Harris, in the Chicago office, is a partner in the Health Care practice group, Kevin H. Morse, in the Chicago office, is a partner in the Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights and Commercial Litigation practice groups and Elinette Ruiz, in the Miami office, is a partner in the Municipal & Governmental, Property Tax Appeals, and Land Use practice groups.
Ms. Harris concentrates her practice on transactional and regulatory health care law on behalf of all types of health care providers and entities, including, hospital systems, physicians, IPAs, ambulatory surgical centers and other health care professionals, managed care companies, pharmaceutical companies, and HMOs. She earned her LL.M in Health Care Law from Loyola University School of Law, J.D. from Harvard Law School, and received her B.A. from Princeton University.
Mr. Morse’s practice involves the representation of businesses, financial institutions, trustees, and individuals in a broad range of insolvency related matters, including out-of-court restructurings, distressed sales, in-court Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy cases, and litigation. Prior to joining Arnstein & Lehr LLP, he served as the judicial law clerk for the Hon. Thomas B. Donovan in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California (Los Angeles). He earned his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law and his B.A. from University of Colorado at Boulder.
Ms. Ruiz concentrates her practice in the areas of Land Use and Zoning, Eminent Domain, Liquor Licensing and Administrative law on behalf of a wide range of clients, from all levels of government to private companies doing business with government agencies. She received her J.D. from St. Thomas University and her B.A. from St. Thomas of Villanova University. Currently, she is working toward her LL.M in Environmental Law and Policy from Florida State University College of Law.
