Saul Ewing Attorneys Contribute to Award-Winning Book on Oil and Gas Law
Saul Ewing LLP, a full service law firm with more than 270 lawyers in 11 East Coast offices, today announced that The Law of Oil and Gas in Pennsylvania, edited by partner Joel R. Burcat and Stephen W. Saunders of Saunders Law LLC, has been awarded the 2015 ACLEA Award for Outstanding Publication.
Published in 2014 by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute Press, this meticulously researched and written reference is the definitive guide to oil and gas law in the Commonwealth. It thoroughly dissects both title and regulatory issues relating to oil and gas. This examination is made from the perspectives of the oil and gas industry, land and mineral rights owners and the interested public.
ACLEA is the Association for Continuing Legal Education, an organization committed to improving the performance of CLE professionals. Its members hale from the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Australia, South Africa and other countries. ACLEA's Best Award Committee and the Publications Subcommittee selected The Law of Oil and Gas in Pennsylvania as the top publication from "small organizations" for the Award of Outstanding Achievement.
