Saul Ewing LLP, a full service law firm with more than 270 lawyers in 11 East Coast offices, is proud to announce that Dena B. Calo has joined the firm as a partner in the Labor, Employment and Employee Benefits Practice.  She will practice out of the firm’s Philadelphia, PA and Princeton, NJ offices.

Ms. Calo brings to Saul Ewing deep experience in Human Resources counseling, risk prevention and employment litigation.  She has litigated cases in front of both state and federal juries throughout the United States involving Title VII, ERISA, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Family Medical Leave Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act.  She counsels clients on risk management to comply with heightened state and federal regulatory scrutiny. Ms. Calo also advises clients on constitutional issues, defamation, restrictive covenants and contract disputes.

Prior to joining Saul Ewing, Ms. Calo was director of the Human Resources Practice Group at a regional New Jersey law firm.  In addition to her bar admissions in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, she is admitted to practice before the Southern and Eastern Districts in U.S. District Court in New York; in the Middle District for the U.S. District of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

Ms. Calo earned her law degree, cum laude, from Widener University School of Law in 1995 and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Stockton State University in 1992.
