Saul Ewing LLP Partner Harriet Cooperman Named to List of the “Nation’s Most Powerful Employment Attorneys” for Seventh Time
Saul Ewing LLP, a full service law firm with more than 270 lawyers in 11 East Coast offices, announced today that partner Harriet E. Cooperman has been named to the Top 100 list of the “Nation’s Most Powerful Employment Attorneys” prepared by Lawdragon and Human Resources Executive magazine. This is the seventh consecutive year that she has been named to this list. Human Resources Executive explains that the list recognizes corporate-side employment attorneys “for their excellence in guiding employers through today’s ever-intensifying legal landscape.”
Ms. Cooperman represents management in a wide variety of labor and employment law matters. She has litigated numerous labor and employment cases, both jury and non-jury, before courts and administrative agencies around the United States, covering a wide variety of issues, such as non-competition and trade secrets, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, National Labor Relations Act matters, wage and hour and wage payment, employment torts, and ERISA. Ms. Cooperman is Vice Chair of the Maryland State Higher Education Labor Relations Board, and has been a member of the Board since its inception in 2001. She is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
Ms. Cooperman received her J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law and her B.S. from Cornell University.
