Saul Ewing Partner Charles M. Lizza Appointed Trustee of Association of The Federal Bar of New Jersey
The Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey has named Saul Ewing Partner Charles M. Lizza a Trustee of the Association.
The Association is the pre-eminent Bar Association in New Jersey for those who practice before the federal courts in the District of New Jersey. It serves as a resource for the Court and provides opportunities for federal practitioners to interface with federal Judges and the Court on issues of mutual interest. In addition, the Association annually sponsors the United States District Court Conference in March and the Annual Dinner commemorating the William J. Brennan Jr. Award in June.
Mr. Lizza is a Vice Chair of Saul Ewing’s Commercial Litigation practice and Co-Chair of its Life Sciences practice. He concentrates his practice in complex patent, commercial and product liability cases. Mr. Lizza currently serves as New Jersey litigation counsel in more than a dozen patent cases for several major pharmaceutical companies. He is the Chairman of the New Jersey Supreme Court's Committee on the Unauthorized Practice of Law and a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court's Professional Responsibility Rules Committee. Active in public service, he has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Covenant House New York and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City.
Mr. Lizza received his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Peter’s College and his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
