Saul Ewing Partner Elected Vice President of The Appoquinimink School Board
Richard A. Forsten, a partner in the Real Estate Department, has been elected vice-president of the Appoquinimink School District School Board.
A resident of Middletown, Delaware, Forsten was elected to the school board in 2011. This month he began the third year of his five-year term. The School District is one of the largest in the State of Delaware with almost 10,000 students and an annual budget in excess of $110 million.
In his legal practice, Forsten focuses on land use and commercial real estate. Throughout his 20-year practice, he has represented owners and developers in complex and challenging land use matters in Delaware, encompassing residential, commercial, office and industrial projects. His projects have included the rezoning and redevelopment of the Brandywine Town Center and the former harness race track in northern New Castle County.
