Saul Ewing Partner Richard A. Forsten Elected President of Appoquinimink Board of Education
Saul Ewing LLP, a full service law firm with more than 270 lawyers in 11 East Coast offices, today announced that Partner Richard A. Forsten has been elected President of the Appoquinimink Board of Education for the 2015-2016 school term.
Mr. Forsten is a strong proponent of public service and community involvement. He currently serves as the President of the Delaware State Bar Association, Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Everett Theatre in Middletown, Delaware, and serves on the boards of Goodwill of Delaware and the Delaware Homebuilder’s Association. He also serves on the Supreme Court Rules Committee and the Access to Justice Commission."I am humbled and honored by the vote of my fellow school board members in electing me Board President, and I will work tirelessly to make our school district even better," Forsten said.
At Saul Ewing, Mr. Forsten focuses his practice on land use and commercial real estate, including transactional work and litigation. He has represented a variety of owners and developers in complex and challenging land use matters throughout the state of Delaware on residential, commercial, office and industrial projects.
Mr. Forsten earned his J.D. from University of Virginia School of Law and his B.S. from University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce.
