Saul Ewing Ranked as Number One “Summer Associate Program that Best Prepares For Practice” by Vault Inc.
Saul Ewing LLP, a full service law firm with more than 270 lawyers in 11 East Coast offices, today announced that the firm’s Summer Program for law students ranked first in a nationwide survey of "Summer Associate Programs that Best Prepare for Practice." The firm also ranked fifth in the "Best Summer Associate Programs" overall in the 2016 survey conducted by Vault Inc.
Vault ranks law firms and other companies to provide intelligence on what it is like to work there and helps professionals manage and students pursue their careers. The annual "Best Summer Associate Program" survey asks first- through third-year associates who participated in their firm’s summer associate program to rate their experience on a scale of 1-10 in two areas: how well the program prepared them for life at the firm and how fun the program was. The overall ranking is the average of these two categories.
"These rankings reflect our efforts to give summer associates real, meaningful work," Saul Ewing Manager Partner Barry F. Levin said. "Our senior partners take them to client meetings, closings, depositions and trials and work alongside them in drafting memos and briefs. These and other experiences truly give them a realistic glimpse into life as an attorney at Saul Ewing and, as a result, they have a strong record of returning to the firm after they graduate."
A total of 50 law firms were included in the overall ranking. The top 25 firms were ranked in the two sub-categories.
