Saul Ewing Receives Gold Standard Certification From Women In Law Empowerment Forum
Saul Ewing LLP, a full service law firm with more than 260 lawyers in 11 East Coast offices, announced today that it has been certified a 2013 Gold Standard Firm by the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF).
WILEF awards this certification only to firms which prove through statistics that they have integrated women into their highest leadership positions. To qualify, a firm must have 200 or more practicing attorneys in the United States and a meaningful percentage of them must be women who are equity partners and in significant leadership positions, on governance and compensation committees and are among the most highly compensated.
“When it comes to opportunities for advancement and professional development, women excel at Saul Ewing and hold important leadership positions throughout the firm,” said Teresa “Terri” Currier, chair of the firm’s Women’s Development Initiative. “Receiving WILEF certification certainly reinforces their successes and celebrates the firm for attaining measurable, empirical goals for women lawyers.”
This is the second time since 2011 that Saul Ewing has received the WILEF Gold Standard Certification Award.
