Saul Ewing Special Counsel Indira K. Sharma named to The Daily Record’s 2016 “Successful by 40 VIP” List
Indira K. Sharma, Special Counsel in Saul Ewing’s Litigation Practice and Chair of the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, has been named to The Daily Record’s 2016 Successful by 40 VIP List.
The Daily Record created the VIP List in 2011 to recognize professionals 40 years of age and younger who have been successful in Maryland. This year’s winners were selected on the basis of professional accomplishments and commitment to inspiring change in their community.
Ms. Sharma, who is resident in Saul Ewing’s Baltimore office, concentrates her legal practice on commercial litigation in state and federal courts with an emphasis on real estate litigation and contract disputes. She also represents clients in a broad range of other litigation disputes involving class actions, commercial leases, estates, environmental issues and non-compete agreements. Ms. Sharma is a graduate of University of Maryland School of Law and also earned her undergraduate degree from University of Maryland.
“This year’s VIP List honorees were selected for the significant contributions they are making to their professions and to improving their communities,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher of The Daily Record. “VIP List honorees are the ones to watch. They are the next generation of leaders across our state, and The Daily Record takes great pride in recognizing their achievements and looks forward to hearing about their even greater accomplishments in the future.”
Ms. Sharma and the other winners were honored at a reception on August 25, 2016 and were profiled in a special issue of The Daily Record the following day.
