  • An insurer group in the negotiation and obtaining of court approval of a $163 million settlement of a bankruptcy case involving nearly 100 personal injury claims caused by allegedly defective, exploding gas cans.
  • A manufacturer and supplier of surgical implant devices with $20 million+ in annual sales in Chapter 11 reorganization case resulting in confirmed plan. 
  • Retail footwear companies in successful Chapter 11 reorganization involving restructuring of nearly $30 million pursuant to a debt acquisition of debtor entities by plan funder.

Commercial Litigation, Alternative Entities and Corporate Deals

John's immersion in the Delaware legal community positions him to handle commercial litigation, formation of alternative entities and a variety of other business-related matters across the breadth of the state's legal system, including cases in the state's District Court, Superior Court, and Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
