Jason McElroy is a trial lawyer with nearly 20 years of experience representing clients in complex litigation in federal and state courts. He has obtained verdicts and judgments in jury trials, bench trials and arbitration proceedings throughout the country. Jason litigates a wide range of matters, including claims under the False Claims Act and the Program Fraud and Civil Remedies Act, as well as disputes regarding unfair trade practices, trade secrets, restrictive covenants, and business, contract and antitrust issues. He has particular experience in disputes involving consumer financial services. Companies facing claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), the Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and other regulatory statutes rely on Jason to represent them in complex litigation, including class action matters.

In addition to his litigation work, Jason advises companies facing government scrutiny related to their compliance with federal and state regulations. He has represented clients in investigations, targeted reviews, and enforcement actions by agencies including the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), and their state counterparts, including state Attorneys General. He also prepares clients for regulatory examinations.
